About the living dex tracker
A Living Pokédex means owning one of every single Pokémon species, stored permanently in your boxes and sorted by National Dex number. With 1,025 species through Generation IX, that is a serious undertaking. This tracker helps you stay organized from start to finish. Click any species to mark it; unmarked entries stay ghosted so the gaps in your boxes read at a glance.
Per-generation progress
The generation band above the grid shows exactly how far along you are in each era, and a completed generation turns green. Gen I covers the original 151 Kanto Pokémon. Gen IX adds the newest 120 from Paldea. Mark a whole generation with one click, or clear it just as fast if you start a fresh save file.
Filtering and search
Narrow the grid by generation, marked or missing status, or name. Click a generation in the band to see only that era. Looking for a specific gap in your collection? Switch the show filter to "missing" and the species you still need appear on their own. The search box takes both names and Dex numbers.
All progress saves to your browser's localStorage automatically. No account required, no sign-up, no data sent anywhere. Your collection persists between visits on the same device, and the strip under the grid shows your other saved trackers alongside it.
