A competitive team lives or dies by its type coverage. This tool lets you fill 6 Pokemon slots and instantly see a defensive heatmap across all 18 types — showing exactly where your team is vulnerable and where it's covered.

How to Read the Heatmap

For each attacking type, the heatmap counts how many team members are weak, how many resist, and how many are immune. Red-highlighted types flag stacked weaknesses — situations where 2 or more members are weak and none resist. These are the holes opponents will target.

Building a Balanced Team

• Aim for at least one resist or immunity for every attacking type
• Avoid stacking 3+ Pokemon that share the same weakness
• Check offensive type coverage too — your team's STAB types should hit as many of the 18 types super-effectively as possible
• Pair Pokemon whose resistances complement each other's weaknesses (for example, a Fire type covering a Steel type's Fighting weakness)
