Pokémon speed tier calculator
Speed decides who moves first, and in competitive play that single turn often decides the match. This calculator works out the exact Speed stat for every Pokémon on your team and the top of the meta, then merges them into one sorted list so you can read off who outspeeds whom at a glance. Your own Pokémon are highlighted, and a line marks the gap between what each of your mons outspeeds and what outspeeds it.
How Speed is calculated
The raw Speed stat uses the standard formula floor((floor((2 × base + IV + floor(EV / 4)) × level / 100) + 5) × nature), where nature is 1.1 for a Speed-boosting nature (Timid, Jolly, Hasty, Naive), 0.9 for a Speed-lowering nature (Brave, Quiet, Relaxed, Sassy), or 1.0 otherwise.
In-battle modifiers
After the raw stat, multipliers are applied in order with flooring at each step: a weather or Unburden style ability doubling (x2), a Quark Drive or Protosynthesis style boost (x1.5), Choice Scarf (x1.5), Tailwind (x2), stat-stage boosts (+1 is x1.5, +2 is x2, and so on, with the symmetric drops below 0), and Paralysis (x0.5 in Gen 7 and later). Toggle any of these per Pokémon to model the exact situation.
Tiers versus the meta
The comparison list pulls the most-used Pokémon from real usage data for the selected format, including Singles tiers and current VGC Doubles formats. Each meta Pokémon is shown at its max-positive benchmark and at its most common spread, with a Choice Scarf line added when Scarf is a popular item. The all species list is a sortable base-Speed reference for all 1025 species.
